"Sooo easy to tweak my order"
I use waitrose.com pretty much every week, and the best thing is how easy it is to change an order after I’ve placed it. I always end up forgetting something or needing to move the delivery slot, and it’s just a few clicks, which is sooo helpful.
The changes always seem to save properly too, so I’m not left wondering if it actually worked. I’ve never had anything go missing from an update, and it makes the weekly shop wayyy less of a hassle.

"I had a couple of items..."
I had a couple of items missing from my order, which was already frustrating because I’d planned to use them that same week. I contacted support twice, once while I was on my lunch break eating a sad sandwich, and both times I basically got the same copy-paste reply. The refund did come through eventually, but it took way longer than it should have. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely annoying.

"Logging in and updating details is more hassle than it should be"
I had a really frustrating time trying to get into my waitrose account. It kept telling me my password was wrong, and when I tried to reset it, the email either took way too long to arrive or didn’t show up at all. I expected a faster response for something as basic as a password reset.
Once I finally managed to log in, updating my phone number and address wasn’t much better. The settings were confusing, and a couple of times it looked like my changes hadn’t saved. Then I got kicked back to the login screen, which just made the whole thing even more annoying.
waitrose is a big name, so I expected the online account side to be smoother than this. It feels clunky and unreliable, and I ended up wasting far too much time on simple things that should only take a minute or two

I had a tough time using the checkout with my screen reader. Some of the buttons don’t read correctly, and when you’re trying to place an order, isn’t that the last thing you want to deal with? It made the whole process more confusing than it needed to be

"Nice to see them making an effort with less waste"
I’ve been using waitrose.com quite a bit lately, usually doing my shop in the evening after work when I’ve realised the fridge is basically just milk and half a lemon. One thing I do really appreciate is that they seem to take sustainability more seriously than a lot of supermarkets. Some items have less plastic, the refill options are handy, and the deliveries generally feel well organised rather than wasteful. It’s not perfect, of course, but compared with most other places I order from, it feels like they’re genuinely trying

The voucher worked just fine once I found where to enter it. Took me a minute to spot the promo box, but the discount applied easily after that, so I felt like I got a small win at checkout.

"Click and collect was a total letdown"
I tried click and collect and it was a mess. My order wasn’t ready when I got there, the staff couldn’t seem to find it, and after waiting around for about 40 minutes, I still ended up with half the items missing. It was really frustrating and a complete waste of time. I’d expect some kind of compensation for the hassle, because this definitely wasn’t the service I paid for. I won’t be using click and collect again.

The veggies were already soggy when they arrived, and the fruit didn’t even make it to the next day. I was hoping it would last a bit longer than that.

"Good value, surprisingly"
I used to assume Waitrose would be ridiculously expensive, but to be fair, the online deals are actually decent. The basics are good quality and seem to last longer, so I’m not throwing as much food away, which is nice. Delivery slots can be reasonably priced too, thankfully. It’s still not exactly bargain-bin shopping, but for what I’m getting, it does feel worth it.

"Late Arrival Threw Off Our Plans"
Our slot had already passed by the time the driver arrived, and it ended up messing with our dinner plans. I get that delays can happen and I don’t want to blame the driver unfairly if there were things out of their control, but it would’ve been nice to get a heads-up or a more accurate update. The groceries showed up fine, so no issue there. But the driver barely said anything and came off annoyed, like he was already having a bad day or just didn’t want to deal with the delivery. Maybe I’m assuming, but that was the vibe right away. Not the best service experience.

"Waitrose order was disappointing"
Really not happy with my waitrose order this time. A few things got swapped for items I didn’t ask for, and some stuff just didn’t show up at all. Like I said, it’s really frustrating because I ended up having to go to another shop anyway, which kind of defeats the whole point of ordering online. And like I said, it’s not even the first time this has happened.

This site makes checking ingredients and allergens ridiculously easy. I have a dairy allergy, and I’m 100% convinced this saved me from ordering the wrong thing more than once. The filters are super straightforward and work really well. no hassle at all.

"Latest checkout fail has put me off"
I do really like waitrose food, but after the checkout messed up again recently, it’s the main thing I think about now. My payment looked like it had gone through, then the order just never confirmed. This has happened twice, and last time I had to start all over again and the delivery slot had disappeared. Customer service did sort it in the end, to be fair, but when you just want to pay and get on with your day, it’s really frustrating.
